Biography

Hello!  I am a Native New Mexican that now lives in Colorado. My mother is an artist and I was raised to look at the world through an artistic lens. I can't remember a time in my life that I haven't been infatuated with creating and admiring art. I was originally inspired by the beautiful desert landscape and skies. When I moved to Colorado in 2014 and fell in love with the mountains as well.

I am a contemporary Southwest oil painter that focuses on painting landscapes and scenes around me. I have a background in anthropology and this tends to skew my work towards a more humanistic approach. My work is my story as a contemporary Artist raised in Southern New Mexico.

My current body of work is predominately a series of autobiographical landscapes and scenes from my immediate surroundings. I strive to visually capture how I feel about the subjects through depth and color.
